It took me until today to realize that when you work a block away from a park that overlooks PCH, The Pacific Ocean, and the Santa Monica Mountans, you probably should take your lunch breaks outside.

The New Job View

I started a new job last week. This is the view out the window from my desk of the fountain and courtyard. Not too bad I think!

My new job is at Hostelling International's LA chapter, and my office is attached to a really nice 250 bed hostel that also has access to this courtyard. So besides the fountain, I also have a view of a constantly rotating cast of International characters!

I started this blog a while ago but only posted twice. Part of my problem was that I tried to give myself a topic that I could write blogs about, and it was too serious. In other words, I ran out of things to say real quick.

So now, I'm going to try posting random thoughts, pictures (mostly from my camera phone), links, etc.
